The Indian Head Massage is a truly relaxing experience. The massage involves the upper back, shoulders, neck, head and face. The massage applies just the right amount of pressure and releases any muscle tension. The experience takes place in relaxing surroundings with soothing background music, and massage oils with a beautiful scent are used if desired. It is a lovely treat that leaves you feeling totally refreshed and ready to start the day. It can also be a great end to a busy day, enabling you to switch off and unwind. I can't wait to go back!

I get an Indian head massage at the TAO, probably every 4 to 6 weeks because it releases any tension I have in my neck and shoulders. Afterwards I feel fully relaxed. The Indian massage starts on the upper back moving through to my shoulders and eventually neck, this sort out the muscles and loosens my neck. The part I enjoy most is when i the massage moves to my head and face, I find this very relaxing If you haven’t had one of these, then you’re missing out Dave Pickworth

I had the most amazing massage with Kelly at Tao the other day and I am still feeling the benefits. Everyone is professional and friendly and I love that the salon is right in the city centre. Highly recommend!

Exceptional! A very welcoming reception and a beautiful building oozing with history! I've had several sessions here for electrolysis and also massage. The procedures for electrolysis are supportively explained and my comfort was checked in on through out. My therapist was excellent, made me feel at ease and left me feeling very confident and cared for. The results have been magnificent. The massages are 2nd to none! The building holds a beautiful ambience, helping with the experience. Very well worth the visit!

I got a wax at this salon which was good. However, I also got a tan and the result was really bad - I had very dark hands and feet and a light body and the tan was streaky/patchy. I don’t think this salon is equipped to provide a tan as they do it on the top floor of an extremely hot building with no air conditioning. This means that you inevitably sweat and sweat lines and patches appear in the tan, even after they try to ‘dry you off’. They actually make you dry yourself off next to a fan on the ground, which means you can’t dry all of your body, as the fan is stationary and positioned low on the ground, not a hand held one that would allow you to do your back and upper body. The lady applying the tan unfortunately also sprayed my hands and feet numerous times when trying to spray other parts of my body, which I think is why they ended up so dark. Overall this was a waste of money and I had to get a tan remover from Boots to remove the tan and start again, which was very stressful before my event. I’d recommend this salon for the waxing but not for tanning.
