Today (23/06/2026), I went to Emerald (Taroon) Nails and Beauty for a BIAB appointment that I had booked the day before for 12:30 PM. Before booking, I specifically asked how long the appointment would take because I planned to go during my lunch break, and I was told it would take around 1 hour. I arrived on time, but despite having an appointment, I still had to wait. The shellac removal and manicure were started by one person, but halfway through she left me sitting at the table to serve another customer who had arrived later than me. To keep me occupied, I was given nail colour samples to choose from and ended up waiting around 30 minutes while they prioritised another client. After that, Taroon came to do the BIAB application but continued moving between me and another customer instead of focusing on finishing my appointment properly. What should have taken 1 hour ended up taking around 1.5 hours, which made me late getting back to work. Unfortunately, the quality of the nails was also very disappointing. The work felt rushed and careless. My left index nail is noticeably uneven, parts of the manicure were poorly done and cuticles were left behind, and the BIAB application is inconsistent—on some nails it starts far from the cuticle while on others it is applied too close. On my little finger, the BIAB is lifting at the side, and some edges look unfinished, honestly giving the appearance of cheap press-on nails. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with both the service and the result. The quality does not reflect the price charged, and I would not recommend this salon. I ended up wasting both my time and my money.

Such a lovely experience, I had the lovely tooran doing my nails. She’s so lovely and so professional when doing my nails. She gave me so much choice and showed me all the options I had for chrome ect. And I left with the cutest nails ever! So glad they’ve opened another salon ! X

I had an amazing experience at Emerald Beauty! I got my nails done and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The staff were super friendly and professional, and they really paid attention to detail.
