I was genuinely disappointed with my recent experience at Rush&Ry London – Finsbury Park. I was running 15 minutes late due to an accident-related traffic jam and poor weather conditions, and I called ahead while on my way to let them know. Despite this, I was still charged a £15 late fee. What made it more frustrating was that, when I checked online, the schedule did not appear to be full. in fact, it looked as though I was the only client at that time. I want to be fair: Rita is lovely, and I have always appreciated her treatments. However, the way this situation was handled by management was extremely disappointing. The manager repeatedly told me they were busy and that my lateness would cause delays for the next clients, yet during my visit there did not appear to be any other clients waiting. The manager’s attitude on the phone felt unnecessarily rigid, and instructing the employee to charge me a late fee despite being informed in advance left a very poor impression. I have never experienced this kind of approach elsewhere, especially when a client has communicated honestly and respectfully before arrival. A little understanding would have gone a long way. Sadly, this will be my last visit. There are plenty of other places in London where clients are treated with more flexibility and consideration.

Rita was perfection! I loved the colour and the way she blended everything to perfectly match my face and skin tone. Moreover, Rita was super friendly, warm and professional and I really enjoyed my time at the salon. The coffee she made was also a hit! I’ll be sure to be back!

Mona was very friendly and accommodating and out me at ease UPDATE I wouldn’t usually leave a bad review for a persons service but this time I felt I had to. It’s been 4 weeks since I got a lash lift and full leg and Hollywood wax. The wax bought me up in bumps, there was lots of hair left and I ended up having to get the tweezers out for my bikini line just to feel happy enough to get into a bikini. But worst of all was the lash lift, I could tell immediately it wasn’t good, but I was leaving to go travelling the next day and I just thought nothing could be done. The lashes were mainly just crooked up as opposed to curled, but it got worse. Around a week later, they were pointing all over the place not just up. The image is the first time I’ve worn mascara in 4 weeks (due to being lazy whilst backpacking) and it’s a horror show. I’m embarrassed to go into the office like this in a few days. My lashes were actually nice before and now I’ve gotta wait this out and hope for the best.
